Arthur is a one-year-old Lhasa Apso that was taken to a shelter in Pittsburgh because the family thought he was too much work. He has since been adopted out twice to families unfamiliar with the breed, and brought back within 24 hours. He needs a family who are well versed on Lhasa behavior and understand what they are taking on. Arthur loves to play with his toys, and knows lots of commands, including playing dead when you point a finger at him and say "bang." (I've been trying to teach my dog that one forever, but she rolls around while she's supposed to be dead. It's not convincing...) Arthur is adoptable through the American Lhasa Apso Club Rescue, out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I am still accepting commissions during the Year of 52 Rescues, they just might take me a little bit longer to complete. I paint from a photograph, and I've been known to paint humans too!
